Regula Stuedli is a renowned textile designer who works for well-known companies. She particularly appreciates the creative freedom at Christian Fischbacher, where she has been bringing her personal signature to the design team since 2023. ‘It's exciting to be able to transfer my experience from the exclusive world of haute couture to the design of luxurious bed linen,’ says Regula Stuedli, who is already familiar with this target group from her work at Jakob Schlaepfer. In her own studio, she designs customised interior creations and artistic projects. She is passionate about passing on her extensive expertise to students at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Preparatory training in design and Art, St. Gallen.
The guide to timeless yet modern patterns
A design only remains relevant if it touches the customer. I strive for beauty that surprises - whether it’s through interesting colour combinations, unusual patterns or precise details. When it comes to bed linen, the harmonious rhythm of the motifs is crucial for creating calm and balance.
Where ideas grow
Whether in botanical gardens, museums or exhibitions - when I'm travelling, I'm inspired by art, fashion and architecture. This was the case recently when I visited the old Bibliothèque Nationale, Site Richelieu-Louvois, in Paris for the first time. I'm also fascinated by the mountains - I enjoy being outdoors and experiencing the changing seasons.

I like a light down duvet in combination with a fine cashmere plaid.
My bedtime reading
I usually read several books at the same time, most recently novels by Benedict Wells, Elif Shafak, Stefanie Sargnagel and Daniel Kehlmann were lying next to my bed.

My favorite Design
My current favorite design is the Kimono FARN. What makes this iridescent fabric so special is its dark warp and elegant sheen. It is an exciting process to design a jacquard pattern from scratch and accompany its development through to the finished product.
