Alongside down, innovative, finest synthetic fibres of unique softness are among the most popular filling materials. Good insulation and rapid drying are further properties of the microclimate fibres which are similar in feel to down. Paired with superlight, breathable cotton twill, the result is a dry sleep climate and a wonderful feeling of wellbeing in bed.

The quilting keeps the filling in place and permits even heat insulation. The hand-sewing process is followed by filling before fabric and filling are stitched together on modern quilting machines.
