SATIN MOTION Pillowcase

Like a close-up of soft fur or a zoom on fine feathers, the MOTION design is the artistic interpretation of a warp print. In this technique, the design is printed onto the warp threads before weaving, creating a blurred, almost watercolorlike pattern. Originally from France, this technique became particularly popular in the 18th century and was used to embellish fine silk fabrics from Lyon.
